Well, i’ve tried and tested all the methods known (at least the one’s I found in google search and believe me it is complex and involves a lot of steps), but nothing is easier than the following steps i’ve found my self:

1. Make an Audio CD (I had dts tracks in wav format) using Nero for example.

2. Burn it to any image format (I used image recorder).

3. Mount the image (using a tool like daemon tools)

4. Play using PowerDVD (v8) for example (I used WMP11/MPC they only give static noise careful).

So, now I’m playing the DTS tracks on a PC without external/special sound card.

BTW, I have 5.1 channel speaker setup on integrated soundMax audio on motherboard.

any questions/comments are welcome:)
